AYM was established in 2019 to provide yacht management support to clients, family offices, trust companies and yacht & crew managers. 

Regulation and legislation surrounding yacht ownership and management is constantly changing and increasing in complexity.  AYM are passionate about enhancing clients’ in-house yachting expertise and improving service delivery.  We can help with a discreet back-office style approach or work in a direct client facing capacity.

As founder of AYM, I have an extensive background in the maritime industry, working at sea and ashore, a BEng degree in Naval Architecture and 11 years at a specialist yacht management company as a director and Head of Crew Services & Yacht Technical looking after some of the largest (and smallest) yachts in the world.   

During this time, I have built up a strong network of maritime connections to help clients overcome problems with an efficient and forward-thinking approach.

A detailed review of the yacht, crew and management structure to identify and mitigate ongoing risks. 

An internal review of a company’s management systems and administrative processes, providing suggested improvements to increase efficiency.

Lending an experienced hand to guide you and your client through the bewildering process of yacht sales or purchases.

After an initial consultation to understand your expense requirements, we will help select and implement an appropriate system, providing ongoing support if required.

With a depth of yacht and crew management experience, AYM can undertake all types of project work from data migration, updating procedures & documents to acquisition management.

AYM are available to provide ongoing support on a retainer basis; keeping you updated with industry changes, answering your calls and emails and running monthly reports.

In addition to consulting services, the founders of AYM are developing software to significantly improve the accuracy and efficiency of logging crew qualifications and documentation.  The system will also include the ability to carry out initial and ongoing background checks using a cutting-edge AI based platform.  We are proud to be given the opportunity to tailor this product specifically to the maritime market.

We have spoken with numerous individuals, companies and flag states and have taken onboard valuable feedback.  Our aim is to deliver a product that can be used by all, either as a stand alone system, or through API integration with the most popular maritime HR and recruitment systems.  If you would like to be involved with the beta testing as a crew member or as a management company, please get in touch.
